Mystic Escape is more than a record label. More than a music school. More than a community. It’s a mindset. A movement. A space for artists and music lovers who don’t just want to follow the trends, they want to redefine them.
What started small became a full-scale vision: a record label, music school, webshop, and community designed to uplift the misfits, the genre-breakers, and the dreamers.
We’re not chasing the mainstream, we’re shaping the future.
The Origin
Born from a vision
In 2025 Iris Sloof, better known as Izzy, founded Mystic Escape as a record label. In the years before she broadcasted several mixtapes under ‘Mystic Escape’ showcasing music of her own and from other artists who didn’t settle for the expected. A few years into production and DJing, she felt there was missing something: a space where she has full control over her own creativity.
She decided she wanted to create a space for artists who are, just like her, not afraid to do different. Izzy envisioned a space where musical freedom and creativity comes first. Where experimentation is celebrated. Where artists and listeners come together and shape the future of the music they love.
What We Are
More than a label
Our main focus is to bring more diverse music into the scene. With our record label we focus on styles that don’t fully fit in pure trance, only psy trance or full on techno for example. We don’t like to put art into fixed genres. Music that has elements and feelings combined out of different genres is what makes our heart happy and beats somewhere between 136-145 bpm.
In our webshop, which will open soon, you'll find sounds and instrument racks which will help you get inspired to make music that challenges genre lines. If you need help with your productions, soon you can also watch our tutorials or take one-on-one tuitions.

Just think of some big classics as “Armin van Buuren feat. Sharon Den Adel - In And Out Of Love” or “Ferry Corsten - Punk” - they didn’t follow the genre rules of that time. Genre rules are meant to be broken. That’s how classics are made.
Mystic Escape is here to inspire, support, and amplify a global movement of artists who aren’t afraid to do different.

Founder
Iris Sloof, better known as Izzy, is the founder of Mystic Escape. From her home studio, she imagined a new kind of space. A space where she has full control over her musical freedom and creativity.
Iris handles all incoming demos, clients, artist request and does the whole planning and business development.

A&R
Jan, better knows as Meilink, joined Mystic Escape as an essential part of our A&R team. He brings a sharp ear and deep passion for emerging sounds in trance, techno and beyond. With a producer’s mindset and a strong instinct for potential, he helps scout and support the next generation of boundary-pushing talent. Meilink brings precision, care and genuine dedication to everything he does.

Spotify & YouTube curator
Carlos’ passion for trance ignited in the early ’90s, sparking a lifelong journey behind the decks. What began as a love for the music quickly evolved into a passion for DJ’ing, where his uplifting, euphoric and driving sets transport crowds into pure euphoria.
His breakthrough came in 2014 supporting Paul van Dyk in London, followed by a performance at the Top 100 DJs Awards in London, 2016. He has since had regular slots with the Trance Sanctuary brand.
With his years of experience and dedicated passion, Carlos is the right person to take care of the Mystic Escape Spotify & YouTube. He makes sure all music videos and playlists are up to date and resonate with our mission.

PR & Label Advisor
Brandon Beckwith, originally from California, USA, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and international experience to Mystic Escape. He is the Founder of International Artists Project, Executive Producer of The World Album, a Professional Member of the Recording Academy and a Grammy®️ Considered Producer. Brandon has built a strong reputation for bridging artists, labels, and audiences across the global music landscape.
At Mystic Escape, Brandon serves as PR & Label Advisor, offering invaluable guidance on artist development, industry strategy, and international networking. With his expertise, he supports our mission to create a platform where underground talent can thrive and connect on a worldwide scale.

Ines brings structure, creativity and heart to Mystic Escape’s events. As Event Manager, she turns artistic visions into immersive experiences where sound, atmosphere, and community align. Her background in project management and passion for music make her the perfect link between artists, audiences and the vision of Mystic Escape. Whether managing, contracts, logistics or fine-tuning the flow of a night, Ines embodies the balance between organization and artistry that defines our collective.

Graphic Designer Events
Under his artist name Tommy Pulse, Bas Tichelaar has been a creative force in the electronic music scene as a music producer and DJ for decades. Now, as Mystic Escape’s Graphic Designer Events, he translates his deep understanding of music into artwork that captures the emotion, energy and essence of the events.
